Anatoliy M. Viyevskyy, MD. PhD., is the Director of the Ukrainian Medical & Monitoring Center of Alcohol And Drugs, by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. He is also the Head Narcologist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
A. M. Viyevskyy graduated from the Vinnitsa Medical University (Vinnitsa, Ukraine) in 1977. From 1984 till 2007 had been the Head Doctor – Director of Kyiv-city Narcological Hospital “Sociotherapy". From 2007 till now is the Director of the Ukrainian Medical & Monitoring Center of Alcohol And Drugs by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. From 1996 till present time is the Head Narcologist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
During professional life has been the temporary advisor of WHO in alcohol policy, the consultant in alcohol/drug prevention for ILO, member of Kettil Bruun Society for Alcohol Studies (Helsinki, Finland), The Chairman of All-Ukrainian Narcological Association (Kyiv, Ukraine).
From 1996 till 2010 had been the member of The National Coordinative Board in Drug and Alcohol issues, The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
2005 The Honored Doctor of Ukraine National Award.
